EXCLUSIVE DEVELOPMENT DIRECT FROM DEVELOPER
'Borgo Jacopone' sits deep in the heart of Umbria's green heart! A thoughful, charasmatic development - from a developer who pays attention to detail and to his customers. KEY READY AND OFF-PLAN PROPERTIES AVAILABLE NOW.
Top of Umbria’s attractions are its jewel-like walled towns. Perched on gentle hillsides, these medieval gems blend cobbled streets, magical piazzas and historic churches with intimate trattorias. Boasting ancient farmhouses, winding roads, soft hills and sparkling Lake Trasimeno. Umbria is the "new Tuscany" and as such has much to offer in terms of hillside property. Those seeking relaxation will find it in abundance amid the tranquillity of Umbria's rolling hills, covered with vines and olives, cypresses, pines, oaks and chestnut trees. It is here, in the heart of Umbria, just 20 minutes from Perugia airport that we have our exclusive development ‘Borgo Jacopone’ in Collazzone.
Situated on a hill in the town of Collazzone, ‘Borgo Jacopone’ offers amazing panoramic views of the Umbrian countryside. Studio, one and two bed properties are being built in an authentic style. Build quality and finish is optimum in this small development. The medieval town of Collazzone is built on a hill, offering fantastic views of the local area –rich in pine, oak and olive trees.
The old town has narrow alleyways, old ramparts, battlements and towers – all still intact. Not far from the centre of the town, you will find the Convent of San Lorenzo, which was the first Benedictine abbey in the area. This convent was the last refuge of Jacopone da Todi, who died there on Christmas Eve 1306.
Lately Umbria has been called "the new Tuscany" because it has the art, churches and cuisine of Tuscany without the barrage of tourists. In Umbria, Assisi is second to Rome for religious pilgrimages in Italy, but aside from Assisi, the towns of Umbria are quiet and charming. Collazzone is situated on the very top of a marvellous hill which looks out over a beautiful panorama.
'Borgo Jacopone' is a small village built with an old-fashioned feel (wooden ceilings with exposed beams and tiles, floors with terracotta tiles, external cladding in stone and plaster). We are selling properties in various sizes all including central heating, with or without gardens. There are also jointly-owned facilities including: swimming-pool, sauna, parking space, indoor and outdoor jointly-owned areas. 'Borgo Jacopone' is only four minutes from the major networks of central Italy. From 'Borgo Jacopone', all the main towns of Umbria, Perugia, Todi, Assisi and Spoleto are just a short drive away. We have properties very near to completion on phases 1 and 2 and phases 3 and 4 within in the next 18 months to two years. If you would like any further information , a CD of photos and plans or to arrange to visit this fantastic development, please enquire.
