For airports, Brindisi is the closest at 45km whilst Bari is only 70km away. Perhaps most importantly for investors is the fact that Torre Canne is a 5 minute drive away - Torre Canne itself is dead during winter but heaving during summer season, thus, with the views and quietude, you really get the best of the area with these apartments as well as a place with fantastic investment opportunities. There are daily flights with RyanAir to these airports from Stanstead. 45 minutes from Lecce, 30 minutes from Brindisi (and Bari)
The area is famous for Trulli (the small cone-like houses which are always on postcards from Italy), its beaches, olive trees and excellent food. Whilst Ostuni is becoming more and more popular with tourists, it has still kept its rustic charm and tranquility. Due to its current popularity, the area is an excellent place for investment and development.
The owner lives just down the road from the apartment and is a property developer so if help or contacts are needed in development this is not a problem. The sale of the property is private (no agency) and so there will be no extra fees applied.
