In the small medieval town of Candida, this traditional house affords a well-located, relaxing, and comfortable house for exploring the marvels of Pompeii, Herculaneum, Sorrento, the Amalfi Coast as well as Capri and Ischia. Candida is 10-15 minutes drive to nearby Avellino and 30-40 minutes from Naples. Ferries to islands of Capri and Ischia from nearby Salerno. Candida is a tight knit community where family values prevail. The house, of approximately 1800 square feet, is arranged on three floors, the upper floors are also accessible by *elevator* from the garage level. On the first floor there is a kitchen, two living areas and two bathrooms, one with shower. One of the living areas has a fireplace and a good-sized dining area. The kitchen is finished in the traditional Italian style with off-white tiled walls and counters, oven, hob, tiled breakfast bar, refrigerator, oven and double sink (there is no dish washer). Off the kitchen there is a small terrace. There are also two garages. Upstairs there are three good-sized bedrooms, one of which has bunk beds, and two bathrooms, one of which has a jacuzzi bath (the other has a shower). Each bedroom has an American style closet, and the lower level also has a coat closet. We would be happy to include some of the furniture in the sale price by arrangement. The house is in the middle of the town and all shops are in walking distance (food shops, post office, sports center, coffee bars, restaurants). The town has about 1000 inhabitants.
