The Skiing
Pila 2000 is a high, snow sure resort with a good range of facilities including an excellent ski school with English speaking instructors. The local lift pass can also be upgraded for a small amount to cover all Aosta Valley resorts, Courmayeur, Cervinia, La Thuile, Gressonay, Chamois. The 1100 kms of piste covers the largest area in Europe available undr one lift pass.
Summer
There are a range of activities available throughout the summer months including horse riding, white water rafting. Each little castled village holds its own festival and there are several music and arts festivals in Aosta including the international renowned Sarre Music Festival.
The motorway link is ten minutes drive from the property minimalising airport transfer times, Turin, serviced by budget airlines, is less than an hour away. The Grand Paradiso National Park a mecca for climbers and walkers is twenty minutes drive away. The Grand Paradiso can also be reached on foot via a walk from the house up through the forests behind and then over the colle.
