THE LOCATION:
Le Vurghe is a 5 star resort, situated between Sibari and Crotone on the East Coast of Calabria (Jonic Sea), It is hard to describe the region of Calabria to someone who has never been there: A beautiful multifaceted region that doesn't know monotony and concentrates landscapes full of history and never soothed epopees.
The residence is within a short 15 minute drive of Crotone airport offering direct and inexpensive flights to national Italian airports and about 1 km from the centre of Cirò Marina, famous for the production of the tasteful Cirò wine.

The features and characteristics of the red and white Cirò wine are not only a testimony of the long tradition and expertise of Calabrian winemakers, but also of the distinctive character of our typical vine varieties. The uncontested protagonist is the Gaglioppo grape (also called Magliocco or black Mantonico), a very resistant variety particularly suitable for cultivation in the droughty and arid zones of the Calabrian peninsula. The strong character of this wine is due to the red grapes and its distinctive bouquet and exquisite taste gain with increasing storage.
Le Vurghe is located right in front of the Sea, surrounded harmonically by a luxuriant Mediterranean vegetation, and offers its guests quiet and relaxing holidays at the uncontaminated Sea (Cirò Marina has been awarded for the fourth time Blue Flag status for beaches and marinas that demonstrate high environmental standards and good sanitary and safety facilities) and close to the architectural and folkloristic highlights of Calabria and the Sila-Plateau.
Le Vurghe residence has a surface of 6 hectares .
Because of the immediate access to the beach, Le Vurghe is an ideal location for guests of all ages: Youngsters, as well as families with children and the older generation are all enjoying their stay in this relaxing resort.
THE DEVELOPMENT:
Residence Vurghe consists of two apartment units with a total of 48 apartments , located partly on the ground floor and partly on the first floor. The spacious and tastefully furnished apartments are surrounded by a beautiful garden area and have sea view. The broad and well-kept sandy beach is only about 25 meters away from the apartments. All apartments are equipped with satellite and digital TV, a completely furnished kitchen-lounge and fridge.

Your holiday home is located right in front of the Sea and includes the following services: Supermarket, Restaurant, Pizzeria, Bar, Tobacco, fruit stand, laundry, cinema, discotheque, swimming pool, medical aid, various sports facilities, children’s playground, camper service, beach service, entertainment, children’s entertainment.

Climate:
The region has a temperate climate during the year.
The area of Le Vurghe , has a microclimate with low humidity. With temperatures ranging from 10’C to 30’C, with on average only 55 days of rain per year.
Beach:
Our Clients are entitled to use our private beach (sand and gravel) with beach service (sunshades and deckchairs).
Entertainment :
During the day we offer a wide variety of activities for all age groups, games, quiz games, parties and culinary surprises. The evening program in the amphitheatre includes shows, music, dance, cabaret, musical etc.
Children’s Entertainment:
While Mummy and Daddy are relaxing, we take care of the kids. The entertainment program is designed for children from 4 to 11 years; the evening highlight is he traditional Baby dance.

Rental History:
Rentals for the apartments vary slightly on each unit but average at around 8% rental yields. There is a managment company to take care of everything on sight and the apartments are currently renting to Scandanavians and Northern Italians. The management company offer the complete rental package including cleaning the apartments after each tennant has left, key holding service and advertising of the holiday let.
